Meet the Team!

Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK – Grand Rapids South, we are consistently striving to make the stress of moving a thing of the past! Whether it is just moving a couch to a different room or moving to an entirely different state, we are here to help!

This would not be possible without our incredible staff in the office, so we would like to introduce you to those wonderful people!

Darron Kadwell

Darron Kadwell is the General Manager here at the Grand Rapids South location (and two others in Bloomington & Evansville, Indiana!). When asked what his favorite part about working for TMAT he answered, “I enjoy the challenges that everyday brings in a quest to be the best. The fact that we are constantly looking for ways to change for the better…not only for our customers, but for all that work with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family.”

His favorite Core Value isn’t The Grandma Rule, he chose to be different. His favorite is Be Your Best and Have Fun. This is his favorite Core Value because he says if you can’t have fun with what you are doing, maybe you should try something else! And he believes that fun is pretty contagious!

When he isn’t at work, you can find Darron trying to keep with his three kids. They are in their teens/early teens so they are involved in a lot of activities, so that keeps him pretty busy! He loves to watch them grow and achieve success in the things they do!

Dan Pettit

Dan is the other General Manager here in Grand Rapids. He also is the GM for the Evansville, Indiana franchise and GM/Franchisee for the Bloomington, Indiana location! Dan has been with the company for 10 years. He picked Integrity as his favorite Core Value. “I believe integrity is the fundamental value. Success and growth is more meaningful and setbacks and challenges are less complicated while you maintain integrity.” Dan’s favorite part about working for TMAT is seeing how much the industry has changed over the past 10 years. “Overcoming tough situations has been exciting. Record growth through all of that builds confidence and energy in our staff and the system.” He has enjoyed getting the chance to see so  many people advance in their careers and take on new roles.

When Dan isn’t managing three locations you can catch him spending quality time with his wife, Kelli, and his three kids, Nora, Silas, and Charleigh. They just welcomed their third child Charleigh on December 27th! Both mom and baby are happy and healthy! He loves to camp and work on home improvement projects. Some pretty cool fun facts about Dan is that he is related to the very first MVP in the NBA, Bob Pettit from the Atlanta Hawks. He even has a personal note and autograph from him! He also survived a near death experience at a young age, but we think the other thing is cooler. 😉

Kristina Goulet

Before making the trek over to Grand Rapids, Kristina worked in various positions with TMAT Home Office in East Lansing! After working there for three years, she came over to Grand Rapids in the Spring of 2018 and took on the role of bookkeeper. She also is the bookkeeper for the Evansville and Bloomington locations! So yeah, shes’s a busy lady! When asked what her favorite part about working for TMAT was she responded “Having the opportunity to help move people – customers, co-workers, and individuals in the community – forward.” Kristina’s favorite Core Value is Be Your Best and Have Fun. She believes it pushes us to be the finest we can be at work, at home, and in our community while still having a great time reaching our goals.

When Kristina isn’t making sure everyone gets paid on time, you can find her baking (we can attest to her delicious and extremely unique baked goods!), crafting, traveling and spending time outdoors. But, her favorite activity outside of work is spending time with her friends and family.  She also has two amazing rescue dogs (adopt, don’t shop!) that she spoils more than she probably should!

Here are some adorable pictures of Kristina’s canines in the cutest little Halloween sweaters, for your viewing pleasure!

Stephanie Rodriguez

Stephanie is one of our Move Consultants here in Grand Rapids, but she has spent time down at the Wilmington, North Carolina franchise. She’s been with the GR franchise for just about two years. When we asked her what her favorite Core Value was Be Your Best and Have Fun. She believes that it encompasses all of the other Core Values. “When I am at my best, I am living out all of the other values. Being encouraged to have fun means that we generally have a positive atmosphere around here, that’s helpful when days are busy and stressful.”

When it comes to surprising customers with the flexibility of what we can do, that truly is her favorite part about working at TMAT. “Sometimes it’s being able to move a 1500 lb safe or being able to schedule their move with little notice, moving across the state/country, or even just getting the job done faster than they thought we could. They call you and you can hear it in their voice that they’re expecting you to say “absolutely, we can help you with that”. It can be hard to figure out some logistics for some moves but it’s worth it when the customer tells us that we really helped ease their stress or, my favorite, completely converted them and they say “I’m never moving myself again, TMAT made it so easy!”

When Stephanie isn’t surprising customers with ways to simplify their moves you can catch her out in nature hiking, backpacking, or taking a ride on her long-board. She enjoys music, whether that be singing or playing the ukulele or hand bells! One very interesting fact about Stephanie is that she was hit in the head with a horseshoe when she was almost four years old and had a depressed skull fracture! She has a grand total of 11 plates and 44 screws in her skull! Incredible!

Tina Chard

Tina is our other Move Consultant at the Grand Rapids South location. She has been with TMAT since April of 2009. So she is quickly approaching that 10 year mark! Her favorite Core Value is The Grandma Rule and she wants to be clear that is NOT because she is older than everyone here! “Because that’s how I was brought up, to treat everyone with kindness and compassion.” When Tina sat down and thought about her favorite part of working for TMAT she answered, “Ultimately it feels good to think that you had a part in helping someone, making their day better, and also the flexibility I’ve had over the years of being able to balance my work duty and mom life!”

When Tina isn’t booking moves you can find her taking walks on the beach, going on spontaneous trips with her husband, cheering on the Michigan State Spartans (basketball & football), or hosting her friends for gatherings and patio parties! Tina has three sons (three years apart!) and has loved to raise them into adulthood. Something that might surprise you about Tina is that she used to be incredibly shy growing up! She was afraid to speak in front of a group and avoided confrontation at all costs. You would never know this now, as she rocks it on the phones and when she is helping customers!

Mitch DeBruine

Mitch has been with the company for four years. He worked his way up from being a mover to his current position as Operations Manager! When it comes to his favorite part about working for TMAT he enjoys the family atmosphere inside the office. He loves helping others grow not only in their work, but also in their personal lives. Care is Mitch’s favorite Core Value. He truly believes this is why our customers continue to come back to us time after time. “We take care of them and their belongings. Care also goes towards building a family and culture in your franchise.”

When Mitch isn’t making sure trucks are sent out on time, he enjoys attending sporting events (he was really adamant that we emphasize his dislike for Michigan Wolverine Athletics). He is a big fan of hanging out with his friends and family and playing video games. He also enjoys cooking! He likes to brag about his world famous chili from time to time.

Blake Casey

Blake started out with TMAT as the Operations Manager in May of 2016. He moved into the Franchise Manager role which is now his current position. Just like Mitch, the Core Value that is closest to Blake’s heart is Care. “To me this sums up how I want to live and how a business should be ran. Every person within Two Men cares and you see it in the workplace through their actions and their customer feedback. It makes coming to work easy and fun!” When we asked Blake what his favorite part about working for TMAT he was quick to answer, the people. “Whether it’s our customers or our staff, every day you get to work with great people from all different backgrounds.”

Outside of making sure the franchise is running smoothly, you can catch Blake hanging out with his wife and two young sons! Blake enjoys playing any sport you could think of. From bowling to football. He plays in a bowling league every Thursday! “I’m always up for some friendly competition.” When he has any other free time outside of hanging with his family and playing sports, he loves watching movies. When Blake retires, he wants to farm. He grew up living on a dairy farm and someday he would enjoy having his own small farm.

Justin McVoy

Justin is our HR Recruiter here at Grand Rapids South. He has been with the company for almost two years! Inclusion happens to be Justin’s favorite Core Value. “TMAT really values building a diverse team. I enjoy knowing that our strength comes from the multitude of background and experiences our employees come from.” When we asked Justin what his favorite part about working for TMAT, he answered “the people”. Plain and simple. He loves that TMAT employees are encouraging and friendly and will do anything to follow our purpose of “moving people forward”!

When Justin isn’t hiring our amazing front line staff, you can probably find him somewhere outdoors. Whether that be biking, running, or backpacking… he does it all! He loves any activity that allows him to spend time with his wife and daughter! We wouldn’t suggest playing a game of “Go Fish” with Justin, he claims he has never lost a game!

Bailey Miller

Bailey is our IHC which stands for “In-Home Consultant”. Her job is to go to customers homes, offices, wherever they may be moving from and get an idea of what needs to be moved. She does a walk through with the customer and figures out exactly what needs to be taken and can answer any questions about their upcoming move. She has been with Two Men and a Truck since March of 2015. Bailey’s favorite Core Value is Care. “It is really rewarding to see how much you can help someone simply by caring.” Bailey really loves knowing that the company has great values. That is her favorite part about being apart of the TMAT family!

When Bailey isn’t running out to customers homes a million times a day, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends and attending sporting events!

Morgan Nelson

Morgan is the newest member of the team. She is the Marketing Coordinator for the GR location as well as the two Indiana locations (Bloomington & Evansville). and she has been with the company since the end of October. Community is Morgan’s favorite Core Value. “Being able to give back to the community is a vital part of a successful business. Being able to help people who may not have the resources to help themselves is such an amazing feeling!” When asked about what her favorite part about working for TMAT she answered, “How welcoming everyone was and when I mean everyone, I mean every single person I encountered from day one. From Home Office all the way to frontline staff. Everyone truly made me feel welcome.”

When Morgan isn’t out taking pictures of our awesome employees or attending networking meetings, you can probably find her playing intramural softball, hiking with her dog, exploring new breweries around Grand Rapids, or spending her summers camping! “My family and I spend every summer in Ludington. It is such an amazing place to vacation.” A fun fact about Morgan is she used to have boy-short hair growing up from kindergarten until about third grade! “People would always tell my mom how cute her son was!” She also had big, circular glasses at the time that made her resemble Harry Potter!

Rob Felcher

Rob is the Franchise owner of three TMAT locations! Grand Rapids South along with two locations in Evansville and Bloomington, Indiana! Rob has been with the company since the fall of 1994 while he was going to college. Rob found many opportunities to climb the ladder and eventually worked his way up to General Manager. During his time as General Manager he worked directly with Jon Sorber, one of the original “Two Men”!

While working with Jon, he learned many great techniques about how to effectively run the franchise operation. In 2008, Rob purchased his very first franchise in Grand Rapids! Rob is married to his wife, Kim, and they have two kids together! A boy, Josh, and a girl, Emily! “It has been a blessing and privilege to be a part of this great TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family!”
